No Story Should End Too Soon;

World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is an awareness day observed on September 10th every year, to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world since 2003. This day gives us an opportunity to increase our awareness and develop a better understanding of suicide.  The facts are that suicide will touch 90% of Canadians by the age of 40. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth ages 10-24 and Alberta has one of the highest provincial rates of youth suicide in Canada. Suicide is preventable; encouraging help seeking behavior, addressing the stigma, and raising awareness is a HUGE part of prevention. 

This is our fourth year of creating t-shirts for the "Not another t-shirt campaign". Suicide is a unique experience and because of this we have created “Not another t-shirt campaign” where you can choose a t-shirt that you can wear any day of the year to raise awareness, reduce stigma and let others know you promote choosing life.

A portion from every item will go to the Kids Help Phone.  The Kids Help Phone is a Canadian charitable organization that provides online and telephone counseling and volunteer-led, text-based support. Kids Help Phone also provides information on how to access community support services for youth.  Your contribution will make an impact to youth across Canada.
